The 2004 Pendle Borough Council election took place on 10 June 2004 to elect members of Pendle Borough Council in Lancashire, England. One third of the council was up for election and the Liberal Democrats gained overall control of the council from no overall control. After the election, the composition of the council was *Liberal Democrat 30 *Conservative 11 *Labour 8 ==Campaign== Before the election the Liberal Democrats were the largest party on the council with 24 seats, but without a majority as there were 13 Labour, 11 Conservative and 1 independent councillors.
